We are long time fans of Jack Johnson's chill, acoustic-based style. Having recently read some articles about him in Fast Company, New York Times and Treehugger, our fan meter has exponentially risen.
Jack Johnson is extending his passion for helping the environment through everything he does. A while back he joined 1% For the Planet, which is comprised of companies who pledge 1% of all sales each year to go towards environmental organizations. He now has begun to do more.
His latest album, Sleep Through the Static, was recorded using solar energy, his concerts try to be as green as possible by recycling and purchasing carbon offsets and he encourages fans to get involved in environment causes. Jack is truly an eco-lover by putting his ideals into action. Pretty cool!
