New York Times article about detergents - check it out!

We were excited to see a new column in the New York Times entitled, "The Green Home". The article talked about the ingredients in detergents and spoke with the head of the EPA's Design for the Environment (DfeE) program to get the scoop. The DfE recognizes detergents with safer chemistry. At present time, all of the Dropps products have been approved by the DfE program. Woohoo!

Clean + Simple

Clean + simple is how we like it. We recently stumbled upon the Bissell Sweep-Up Sweeper. It is a very simple device that picks up lint, dirt and crumbs with an easy forward or backward motion. The Sweep-Up Sweeper works on all surfaces. Our at-home product testers say they have been very happy with its ease of use, ability to pick up dirt and the fact that, "it's a total throwback to the pre-electric appliance days." We love that is uses no energy, no chemicals, is affordable and works well!

help products totally fall into our category of smarter products and we are kind of obsessed. Not only is their packaging simple and genius, i.e. 100% compostable molded paper pulp, but they have a great sense of humor. We couldn't help ourselves from clicking on every option in the "help I'm bored" section. Check it out.
